yes, dvd43free, it is not as good as anydvd(not even close) but it works on most movies. now, if you don't mind working from the hard drive, get the freebies ripit4me(decrypter/fixvts) and fabdecrypter). i have AnyDVD but i hardly use it because i like to rip to the hard drive first and ripit4me is just great at it.

ps: as a on the fly decrypter, there is nothing like AnyDVD.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

It is not as good as AnyDVD and many people still have problems because it is not updated regular. But it is Free! (I don't use it)

DVDFab Decypter or Ripit4me. Some say Ripit4me is better. I won't take a position as I don't use any of them, but most here would agree that even though these tools are good, AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 are well worth the money.

-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

I would opt for DVD Fab or Ripit4Me. DVD43 has issues with a lot of other programs. JM2C
