I keep getting this alert message that pops up on my toolbar in the lower right hand corner of the screen. It tells me every 5 seconds that theres "Security Alert: Spyware found" and then tells me to click on it, which redirects me to a website telling me to download and pay for a specific piece of software, which I know is bullcrap. Also I keep getting Porn popup adds that automatically launch themselves, and will continue doing so into infinity if I dont close them out.

Okay, the first thing you need to do is download the following files. Go to http://www.download.com
Get the following software. In the search box type the names (in bold). All of these are free programs.
1) Ad-aware Personal SE (Lavasoft)
2) Spybot Search & Destroy
3) CCleaner
Now go to http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/download/ and download the second file called A-Squared Free.
Now move the location of your HijackThis file. You need to create a folder for it called HjT . withing that folder place you HijackThis .exe file. You may then right click it and change the name of it to anything you desire. I use HjT .exe. The folders should look like this: c:\HjT\Hjt.exe HjT creates files so it needs to be in its own directory and not in my documents.
Now make sure that you update all of the programs and run them all. They all find and destroy different things but the popups you are getting is spyware.
The last thing that you need to do is delete your cookies and temp file from your computer. You can do some of this through IE or Firefox under tools options. That should suffice for now. Before you post another HjT log make sure that you are still having a problem.
Good luck!

No, that won't solve that problem
@ohgr
Download http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.
Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.
Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs as a 'RiskTool'; it is not a virus. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
