My kids have several games, but two of them won't play right. They are Egghunt and Disney Extreme Skate. The graphics display on the tv screen very, very bright. We've tried adjusting the color on the tv, but that doesn't help at all. It's onlythese two games that are doing this.
Is there anything we can do to fix it or are the games damaged? They used to play just fine. :o/
Thanks in advance!
***BTW, I checked the FAQ and the only thng I could find related to display issues was something about PAL games. I have no clue what that even is. These games are originals purchased from the store new.***
Yes its probably to do with PAL/NTSC games on a PAL/NTSC tv, try a forum search, there is many topics the same other people have had the same problems find the posts and you can fix the problem, im not an expert in PAL/NTSC stuff but i think you need to patch the games or something. Do a search and you should be fine.
perry, try reading the guy's post before replying! He's using store bought original games from his own territory, so its not going to be a region problem.
As for the problem, I have no idea. Never heard of a problem like that & I've been around this scene for about 11 years, sorry.
It won't solve his problem. Since he doesnt know what PAL is, then one can assume he's in an NTSC country, and they cant use Scart leads.
Scart only works for people in PAL countries trying to play NTSC games. You can convert up the way, but not down; 50Hz > 60Hz, but NOT 60Hz > 50Hz.
And your posts are a foreign language to me. I don't understand all the tech talk. :o/
I wondered if it could be our tv, but I would think that all the other games would be messed up also. Maybe I should clean the disk? I may try to see if they play ok on my neighbors playstation.
