i was installing Windows Xp Professional on my computer. During setup i get a message saying "Insert Service Pack 2 CD" i downloaded the windows XP cd from the Microsoft website for it pros. BUt how do i get it onto a Bootable CD??

Just download it, and burn it to a CD, Get up to the same place where you were before, then insert the CD

So just extract this file and burn to a cd?

You could slipstream sp2 onto a disk with your original xp cd.

Use this site by Paul Thurrott. He will show you everything you need to do to slipstream them together

I do not have an original XP Disc. I just use the file 'winnt32.exe' in my i386 folder which is the installation file.

Search Google For Bart PE THe instructions will show you how to build a bootable disk with your winnt32.exe and sp2 slipedstreamed in to it

I finaly got it to install, but i was wondering why it tells me 'You have 27 Days to activate Windows?' i was wondering if WIndows take any of your details during this or is there a way to bypass it?

If your windows is a legal one just reactivate. If it's a pirated copy I don't know how to get around it. somebody might but you will have to ask your friends because you won't find out how here at afterdawn. the law watchs LOL!
