Ok. I've got a strange one here. I'm using RipIt4Me, DVD Decrypter, FixVTS, and DVD Shrink to backup Disney's Cinderella. The problem is that once I burn it, it won't play in any DVD player I have. It actually turned my home DVD player off. I can play the entire moive from my hard drive so I believe the files are fine. I'm using Nero to burn it. I've tried twice with the same results. I searched the forum but did not find anything. I'm burning at 16X. Could that be the problem?

Try burning with ImgBurn at 8X and see if you have the same problem.
What brand of discs are you using?

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try that tonight. I'm using Memorex DVD+R. I've done over 50 DVDs without any problems including many Disney titles including some newer ones. I'll let you know the results.

But try burning at 8x or 4x. also memorex is known at AD as MemoSUX, not good media at ALL, try verbatims or any media Made in Japan for the best results of burning dvds.

Are you book typing your discs to DVD-ROMs when you burn them? Probably the memorex disc that's causing the problem. I would burn it again with the memorex disc and see if it plays. The quicker you get rid of that media the better off you'll be. Good quality media can be had for the same prices as memorex. Sony made in Japan, Verbatims, Maxell MIJ in B&M stores and Taiyo Yudens on line.

Book type DVD +Rs to DVD-ROMs helps stand alone players recognize the media better since original movies are stamped as DVD-ROMs. -Rs cannot be book typed. You burner must be capable also I know Benqs are and new LGs, I think Liteys are but not NECs without cross flashing.

OK. Got it to burn with ImgBurn and different media. Not sure of the brand since I got it from a co-worker. Not sure if it was the speed, the burning application or the media but I got it to work. Thank you everyone for you input.
