So about a week back my swap magic 3.8 discs came in the mail. I noticed the DVD one looked weird around the ring, and sure enough, disc read error. everything loads, except the disc, even the CD disc.
So I went out and bought another set, 3.6 this time. the disc loads after taking a while, and I'm estatic. I put my slide card in and acc. hit the disc I guess while it was spinning, causing a small scratch.

disc read error.

what do I do? I've spent around 70 dollars on worthless merchandise now, and I want to play backups. please help. ><

Depending on how deep the scratch is, you may be in trouble. You can go get some stuff to fix it. There's a CD fixer at my Walgreens, maybe you should look into that. if all else fails, get a real mod chip and put it in or pay someone else to do it.
