How do i take off the front part of disk drive?

Im getting the slide tool, so i need to take off the front part of the disk drive, BUT im having trouble getting it out.I have the one where there is a screw with like a spring. i dont have any screws on the right and left sides, just middle where the ps2 logo is. What tools do i need to get it open? Help plz

nevermind, i got it to open. But is there anything i should know about the slide tool, and how to play the copied games and etc. I just want to be aware. Thanks
