i have an HDTV but know nothing about electronic stuff. so i need help hooking up the wires. below are the a pic of the hd wires and the ports in the back of the tv. can someone show me which wires go where? thanks

put the RBG wires into Input 1 along with the audio R&W cables (leaving the yellow unpluged). Then flip the swicth on the cables to HD.

Turn on console and swicth TV to input 1. you should get video. then go to setings in the xbox360 and configure which HD you can use.

I do not know what resolution your TV can handle. if you know choose 420p 720i 720p or 1080i.

Hi,

Using your picture number the cables 1 to 6 - left to right. i.e. red blue green (HD - Video), red white (Audio), yellow (Video). Use Input 1 on the back of your tv. This gives you P / P / Y / R / L. i.e. red blue green.. next line red white.

OK now to match them up....

1 - P (Red - Top Left)
2 - P (Blue - Tom Middle)
3 - Y (Green - Top Right)
4 - R (Sound - Red)
5 - L (Sound - White)
6 - Not Used for HD

my tv is a Hitachi 57F500A. does anyone know what resolution it can handle? i dont have a manual and couldnt find one on google.

You might be able to tell by plugging a computer in via the DVI socket. The computer will then default to the native resoulution of the TV. Good luck.
