I have a d-link DGL-3420 that I used at my parents house for about a year. It worked great. To set it up you plug it in to your pc and type in 192.168.0.30 and come to the setup menu. You select a network in range and... you're done. Like I said, it worked for a year. Then I move. I moved to an apartment with like 6 accessable wireless networks. My laptop is brand new and has wifi already in it. Im on it right now connected to one of those networks. I tried to do the same thing. I plugged it into my ethernet port and typed it in. "cannot display page." So I turned the wireless off (via an external switch on the front) and tried again. "cannot display page." I want to know if anyone knows anything about whats going on. At the other house the pc was hard-wired to the modem and I unplugged it completely to make room for the adapter. It worked, so I know it dosnt need physical contact with the router/modem. BTW I reset the adpater a couple of times to make sure that it didnt have the old configuration. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
