Everytime I try and burn a dvd after putting it through DVD Shrink I get an error message that says the file is too big. I have 4.7gb blank dvd's and the size is under that but it still says it is too big. I tried Nero and it still said it was too big but it shows that it has room on the disk. I am confused as how to go about fixing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you might try doing a reauther and take out some of the extras or just do movie only that should fix your problem

It is still saying that the disk will not hold it and I need to remove 2484 mb from the disk. The disks are TDK DVD+R 8X 4.7 GB 120 min.

what is the name of the movie? also is there two versions of the movie there? also after you do your reauther you can go back and still take out some more stuff like audio and things like that. nope that helps

The movie is Curious George. I took out everthing like subtitles, other languages. I followed a guide that 9mmruger1 gave me a link to and it still will not work.. I am really stumped.

I can see some flaws and or it could be the culprit. Below is what I see and needs to be fixed.

Again, looks like your burner doesn't like the media your using. In addition, it sounds like your burner is slowly going bad because it stated "Power Calibaration error". Try to update the firmware to see if it'll help.

You need to dump Roxio and stick with Nero only. Roxio and Nero is well known to have conflict with each others, so it's best to completely clean out Roxio from your system. Go here http://www.downloadjunction.com/product/store/15199 and get Roxio zapper to zap/clean it out. Good luck.

Have you changed the Shrink setting to DVD-5?
Edit Memory in use 73% is high. You should turn off some services.

Now I get a message that says the discs are incompatible. I have burnt movies on these before. I did update the firmware.
