unlock code help please

Thanks! It worked..

When I changed the SIM, the network selection in "manual" mode returned the error "No Network Found". The same SIM works in a different phone and identifies the network. Any help?

Sorry for missing out the information.

Right now the phone is in India (state of Andhra Pradesh). Tried Airtel & BSNL SIM cards (Indian cellular providers). Both SIMs work with other cell phones but not with NOKIA 3120b provided with Digicel prepaid connection (from the Trinidad). When the SIMs are used in the NOKIA 3120b, the signal is not displayed. The network selection in "manual" mode returned the error "No Network Found".

Maybe there are some more security settings added by Digicel, apart from "lock"

Bharti Airtel Limited (AirTel - Maharashtra)
Bharti Airtel Limited (AirTel - Madhya Pradesh)
Hutchison Essar Limited (Hutch-Mumbai - City of Bombay)
Hutchison Essar Mobile Services Limited (Hutch-Delhi - City of Delhi)
Hutchison Essar South Limited (Hutch-Andhra Pradesh - Andhra Pradesh)
Hutchison Essar South Limited (Hutch-Chennai - Chennai)
Hutchison Essar South Limited (Hutch-Karnataka - Karnataka)
Hutchison Essar South Limited (Hutch-Punjab - Punjab)
IDEA Cellular Limited (IDEA CELLULAR LIMITED - Delhi)

The rest will not work because of the frequencies do not match.

It's really an eye-opener for me.

One of my friends had a similar phone NOKIA 3120 (from Indonesia) and it works. The phone i have is NOKIA 3120b from Trinidad.

I think the 'b' makes the difference!

I am not able to understand why phone should be made specific to frequencies or why the operator doesnt support all phones or models. Maybe business considerations!

I think these are technical issues and beyond my control right now! Nice interacting with YOU !

Your mobile was built to work with American frequencies which is different to the rest(most) of the world.

Indonesia networks run on a 900/1800 frequency so the 3120 made from Europe will work with no problems.

Hope this makes sense :)
