Hi all,

I have FIVE .vob files, labelled:

VTS_03_1.vob (1,024 gb)
VTS_03_2.vob (1,024 gb)
VTS_03_3.vob (1,024 gb)
VTS_03_4.vob (1,024 gb)
VTS_03_5.vob (225 mb)

Now they make up an entire film and each VOB works but I dont have the core files like the Video_ts files etc. My question is can I import those .vob files above into a DVD authoring program and created a full DVD video structure again?

If so, what program can I use?

Thanks in advance,
Karl.

I haven't done this but you might want to use a program like Voblanker or FixVTS and maybe those programs can fix your DVD structure and make a Video_ts and BUP files! But I can't be sure.

I think Nero Recode can do this, not real sure though. i think DVD Shrink can do this too.

IFOEdit had a fine guide for doing this, unfortunately it seems like the site is gone.

If you have NeroVison Express you can add the vob's and finish the job.

Thanks for all the help and info guys, I may have gone the long way around but this is how I got it working:

there was a fault in the first .vob file causing it to fail when importing it into DVDlab, so I used FixVTS to repair that VOB and then I could import it into DVDlab, and demultiplex them all, and finally recreating a DVD structure.

I got there in the end, thanks all. Great forum.
