hi

i have a ps2 component cable that has a black boarder around the sceen when i play ps2 games ( i have full screen with dvds )

i just wanted to know it there is a better component cable i can get?

or how can i fix this problem

i have had a look at my setting on my ps2
they are:

screen size: full
digital out: on
component video output: ycb/ pb cr/ pr ( i get a black screen with RGB)

that all sounds right... do you have a widescreen tv and is the black border 2 black blocks on the side? if that's the case then change your tv settings to full screen for 4:3 signal. nothing else I can think of as I use the official sony component cables and have no problems (but, I don't have a widescreen tv just a regular one).

i have a widescreen tv, i have changed my tv settings nothing has changed, i will try the official sony component cable.
i will let you know if the sony component cable helps

I bought them from a local retailer (don't know where you live but I'm from canada and got it from futureshop)

i live in the uk and i cant find any sony component cables, i have looked at other websites in america and they wont ship to the uk.
do you know any shop that will ship to the uk?
