Newbie to backing up PS2 games so please bear with me,
I have been reading some of the threads here and have downloaded Windip 1.7 so i can play backups online.
Now my question is where do i find the original disk ID number ?

Thank you for your time, sorry if this is a repeat question

you need something called disc ID utility (you can download this) to get the code off of your original disc. there's also a thread with partial ID codes that other people got.

You can get it at backupscene. There's 2 versions. One for 'fat' ps2 (v1-v7), the other for slimline.
