Swap maigc not working?

Hi guys, Im back with ANOTHER problem.

I bought swap magic last week and it has been working fine for the last few days. However, yeserday it started struggling to load. i.e. It would not load automatically and go to the Browse thing that comes up when you turn your PS2 on with nothing inside.

When it does load and gets to the Load Program screen, its now not loading backups. After I press X the red writing will show as if the game was going to work but it never actually loads.

Any ideas? Its weird that it was working fine and now all of a sudden not at all.

Original disks load fine which makes me think its not the laser.

Anybody? Is it worth me opening the PS2 up and trying to clean the laser, or is it more likely to be a disk problem?

I don't think he was trying to "boost" up his post count, I think he was just desperate to get his problem sorted. As for the main page one, there is next to no chance of a mod stickying a thread like this so he had no choice but to do what he did.
