Hi guys, I've got a backup of final fantasy 7:Dirge of cerberus. The problem is I can't get it to work. After the square-enix screen, the game freezes, although I can hear the disc is still spinning. I guess it just stops loading. I'm using one of the older ps2 models, (don't know which one exactly) in combination with swapmagic dvd loader version 2.0. Could the problem be te fact that i use a too old version of swapmagic????

try using dvd loader from swapmagicfix.com...2.0 is ancient now, you really should upgrade to 3.6

Nothing wrong with v2.0, as has been seen by a couple of recent games that 2.0 CAN load, while with 3.6 you need to use ZoneLoader ie: Scarface!
They're both as good as each other, and have equal amounts of + & - points, and games that they have problems with.

But, as svstang says, you do need to use CDLoader (or DVDLoader if you prefer) as an additional swap to load Dirge Of Cerberus with SM2.0

im having the same problem but mine is swap magic coder -_- and i have a slim line wit the flip top help?
