Dude you only posted you first thread about 30 minutes ago...be patient grasshopper, someone will get you the info you need. As for the addition of counters and such, you can provide suggestions for the site here:

LOCOENG,
thanks for replying, but this isnt the first time i've ever posted, for example last week i asked a ? and no one ever replyed so after a couple of days i answered myself to put my ? back at the top of the list never got another reply, so i never had my ? answered. all i was saying is i beleve that a lot of ? dont get answered, i'm not saying intentionally but they just dont get answered. if you had a number beside your ? of how many people have read your ? then you would know that someone has looked at your ? maybe they just didnt have a answer. this site: http://www.hdloader.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=4
tells you how many people you've had to view your ? and how many replys you have.
like i said its just a thought.
thanks for tring to help!

thread teleported to relevant forum.

i'll have a look thru your latest posts and see if i can help, it could be that you posted the question in irrelevant forum, hence no replies.
But we have swarms of people answering posts on AD, maybe it's an obscure question or just got missed due to the sheer amount of stuff being posted around here.

edit- i'm assuming you mean this one - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/404573 - can't say i've heard of that kind of problem before; i've left a suggestion there

just wondering?
thanks for everything.

number one: instead of using "?" for "question," just say "question." please...we stress trying to use proper spelling and grammar around here. and before you attack my lack of the use of capital letters, i will only say that science has proven one can read lower-case letters more quickly than upper-case or a mixture thereof.

i only say this because when most people, myself included, see "?" they expect the end of an interrogative statement, and your "?" really throws it off.

number two: i don't really see your request of such a counter happening, as it would cause a bit more stress on AD's servers...something the admin have a hard time dealing with due to the horrendous demands of bandwidth and data storage that are pretty obvious to any member.

number three: there's already places that list how many replies a thread may have had, or at least replies that you have made. make sure you're subscribed to your threads so that you get emails notifying you of replies.

number four: you can't always expect good replies. AD, like most any forum, is a network of volunteers. Sometimes, there's not an expert in any given field on here. that's just life--people have families, jobs, etc. as stated above, you need patience. and a good mastery of google.

I have seen afew web sites were it says how much times a threead has been viewed but that is kind of pointless. Let's say your "?" (lol just had to say that) ehm I mean question hasent been anwsered. Then it syas it has been viewed 10 times. What are you going to say "hey guess I know you have seen my thread dont click back anwser it" like really it's pointless.

why would you want someone who doesn't have a helpful answer to post, anyway?

Well I will anwser you question with a question. Why would you want something that tells you how many people have looked at you thread? Im sure there is an anwser but is their a real point does it serve a helpful purpose?

no, it doesn't. ^.^ it seems we're getting a bit away from the original purpose of this thread. as the question seems answered...
