Using USB flash drive as a memory card on 360??

Is it possible to use a usb flash drive to save your games on an xbox 360, if yes, how??
And also, is there any otherway of installing a hard drive through a usb port, so that its rexognised as the official drive and can be used for xbox games?

i think so when i plug in my ipod it gives me a choice to save to my poopdeck (name of xbox hd) or sahils ipod (my ipod) so i think its possible.
