I OPENED WXRIPPER AND PRESS STOP THEN CHANGED THE DISC WITH FARCRY WITH EJECTING THEN I PRESSED SPIN DRIVE THEN MAGIC NUMER ONCE
MAGIC NUMBER FOUND I PRESS THAT ARROW BUTTUON THAT RIPS THE FILE
NOW THIS IS THE PART I GET ANGRY WITH THE 1ST LINE GETS DONE THEN
THE 2ND WHEN IT COMES TO 3RD IT STAYS ON THEN ON THE BOTTOM IT SAYS
DISC ERROR CYLINDER CHECK OR SOMTHING LIKE WHATS HAPPENING PLZ HELP GUYS REALY STRUGGLING
Honestly... that samsung sh-d162c or sh-d163a drive pays for itself really quick.
Using wxripper method, you still have to get the ss, pfi, and dmi to inject into the backup before you burn it. Any other pc drive except the ones stated above, can not read those off the original.
I had the same exact problem. First thing u need to do is in wxripper , after u found the magic number is go to file, its on the top left hand corner. After u click file ure going to click save leyout, i saved it as ss file and i saved it to desktop so it is easier to find. After you have it saved open it with notepad, when u open it with notepad it going to have a layout like this

your going to want to change the third line to a capitle D instead of C so it reads

Now go back to wxripper, after uve found the magic number and stoped the drive, your going to click file and then open layout file. it should have the third line changed to dummy instead fo copy. Ive had to do this for all my recent games i backed up, any problem go ahead and ask.
Yes. It's good for making playable, patched, stealth backups of your originals once it's flashed with the right firmware. And it still operates as a normal pc dvd drive.
And when making your backups don't go througt the step-by-step methods (wxripper, isobuster, etc.). Use an all-in-one program like Schtrom v3 or XBC v2.3. This will save you alot of time and headaches.
