I been tryin to use DVD Shrink. I am trying to back up Stay Alive I used dvdfab with AnyDVD then ran it through VobBlanker. But when I use DVD Shrink I keep gettting a error message
DVD Shrink encountered an error ran out of memory. not enogh storage space anyone knows what this means and how to fix it?
first thing to try, disable AnyDVD if you use fabdecrypter. if you have the later (latest would be best) version of fab, it should open a small message window stating that you need to disable AnyDVD before using fab. it may cause conflicts. my suggestion considering that you have AnyDVD (latest version i presume): rip to hard drive using AnyDVD, then you can either try shrink at that point, or run it through VobBlanker (especially if you want to remove warnings, trailers, extras, etc.) and then shrink.
DVDFAB should be able to hande this (STAY ALIVE) or any movies easily. Once it's done, simply post process and clean the already ripped VIDEO_TS.IFO through VobBlanker (or if you want to get rid of FBI Warnings, Trailers/Advertise, Extras, etc.) After VobBlanker is done, simply import the newly created VIDEO_TS file from VobBlanker into DVD Shrink and you'll be fine.
As surfgeo stated, don't run AnyDVD with DVDFAB, they'll just conflict one another. DVDFAB is already a good ripper, that being said, you'll need to "disable or shut off" AnyDVD completely in prior to rip the movie via DVDFAB.
Been using DVDFAB since last June 2005 to current and I've never had any issues ripping any movies/dvds. Best of luck.
Another free and flawless method is RipIt4Me (DVD Decrypter + FixVTS), but it's just a little longer than DVDFAB and post process through VobBlanker that's all.
