Hi

I am new to this site, I have Imgburn and shrink3.2, when I hit open disc, it says D:\( NO DISC), and then when I click ok, it says
dvd shrink encountered an error
no disc in the drive
the device is not ready
Can someone help me, all I want to do is burn
I am from Australia, not sure if that would make any difference to when I set the size etc

What is the name of the movie? DVD Shrink can't handle alot of newer movies and needs the help of some other programs to remove the protection for it.

The name of the movie is Walk the Line, I also have ripit4me downloaded as well, I am using a Dell laptop, with Sonic as the burner system, should I maybe disable this?
Oh, and Mattkind, I explained that I was new to the site, so I wouldn't know that this has been told a million, no wait...a zillion times before.

@chezza05,

You should be able to backup Walk the Line using DVDFab decrypter (free), use DVDFab to rip the video files to your hard drive.

Get DVDFab here;

here's a guide if needed;
http://www.dvdshrink.info/dvdfab_decrypter.php

Once DVDFab is done, run DVDshrink and open the files created by DVDFab (click on the open files tab and browse to the VIDEO_TS folder created by DVDFab, highlight the VIDEO_TS folder and click open/ok). Shrink should open/import the video files, I would reauthor the DVD to backup just the main movie and 5.1 english AC3 audio channel.

Here's a guide on how to reauthor a DVD using shrink if needed;

Since you state you have and use imgburn, have shrink create an ISO image on your hard drive, then use imgburn to burn it to disk.
