I am pretty sure my game cloner works because it copies all the files, I just don't know why when i try to upgrade the BIOS, it doesn't work. I will tell whole story so it is easier to understand:
Ok i wanted a modchip for awhile, and i found out my uncle already installed a later version of one in another game system so I knew he could do it. I had him install the matrix infinity modchip I got from modchipstore.com. When I got it installed, it wouldn't play my originals nor back-ups. I played with it for abit changing the settings, but changed back when done. All didn't work. I finally wanted to see why, so I went to the main site of infinitymod.com which is the official website. I saw many different upgrades and since i had a version1.68, I knew it had to be the version1.68 cue file. So I downloaded the upgrade and wrote it to the disc with the game-cloner software I use to copy my games. It didn't work, so I thought if I downloaded the alchol120% program it used as an example, it might work. So I got a demo of alchol120%, I had like a 30 day trial. So I got the image written to the CD and when I did, it split the one file into about seven different ones. Like system, dummy1, dummy2, data, Image, readme, etc.. I then tried that in my PS2 and like usual the redish orange screen poped up and said for me to insert a playstation, plastation 2 format disc. So now I don't know what to do, I don't understand why it doesn't work, you would think after I spent the money to get the chip, it would work when I first tried it out. But I learned about the weird things I had to do for it to work. I looked somemore and found patches you use for back-ups, but if you need the patches for the modchip to play the games, why doesn't the modchip play the originals? I don't know, I need serious help LOL.
