I was going thru the pgc guide to get to the title menu upon inserting the dvd but going thru the trace mode how can i get the previews to not come before the title menu...i was doing "feast" but previews come before the title menu i would hate to do a "kill pcg playback" but rather just have the title menu come up first.I do know however how to use pgc edit to get to the movie first just not the title menu upon insert.

Haven't played w/ PGC edit too much recently so I can throw another option out there to try - RipIt4Me.
Use the wizard mode going thru the steps. Then when FixVTS has done it's thing and you are on step 5 click the 'jump to 1st valid menu'.
Asked to install a virtual drive which I cancelled since I have Nero's image recorder.
After FixVTS was done - a minute maybe - opened in Shrink and let it do it's thing.
When I played it went to the main title. The special features were at the end of the movie but accessible thru the remote.
Here's a guide from RipIt4Me - having the virtual drive would allow you to review b/4 hand. I skipped it - for me was ok.

This post & links may seem it is longer that it is. Not that bad at all- the guides just go thru a step by step basis and explain

With the feast the process should go pretty fast - not much protection on this one and the orig file size isn't that big.

Give that a go, Maybe some with the answer for PGC Edit will come along in the mean time
