does it require any rebuilding because i burned it with a maxell DVD+R and a fugifilm DVD-R and i end up with disk read errors, if it doesn't require any rebuilding then i'll assume that my ps2 laser died

No, it does not need a rebuild. Use better media or clean your laser.

I would suggest using Verbatim DVD-R and burning at half the certified speed. It always worked for me and I know people who already played FFXII using SwapMagic and had no problems.

Anyway, has anyone come up with a method to use the Jap sound files instead of the English ones, because the english ones do suck.
