Problem with picture quality - shadowing

I´m using my Xbox360 in HD 720i - 60hz mode. I´m getting a blue/grey shadow to the left side of any objects appearing on screen. Can anyone point out what the problem might be? I´ve tried to change to 50hz, which doesn´t help, i checked all the wiring, and it should be ok. The tv supports all the HD -modes and works properly with any other device.

I´m beginning to think its the Xbox itself that is broken somehow? Any ideas?

what i always have problems is make sure when you hook up RBG(component) make sure your switch from "TV" to "HDTV" on your component hook up
