Hello,

I would like to know what is the difference between a .iso file and a .bin file?

I always download img file on Internet, and I see .bin type of files many times more than .iso type.

Is .bin better than .iso? From what I see, .iso file is always smaller compare to the same file in .bin format.

I have also tried to burn both .iso and .bin, just to see what are the differences. But I didn't notice any differences at all.

Thanks for your time.
