im having problems with my chip
i did my old one and it was easy but im doing another one now and i cant remember wat to do next. the chip is in the xbox and wen i turn it on it comes up with flashbios 3.0.3 and gives me the 5 options. i no i need to flash a bios using a cd but dont no wat bios i need and where to get it from. i already have a hd full of stuff which has slayers evox on it. so i just need to get the chip to work and plug the hd of stuff in.
any help on flashin the chip would be great

RITE i must be stupid,
wat bios should i use. ive tried putting cromwell on it and it says flashing then turns off, wen i turn it back on its just back to normall on flash bios 3.0.3.
can some one give me simple instructions on how to do it because the tutorials arnt very good no more.

my old chip was so much more easier
it was a 2.6 lite
this one is the pro
for version xbox 1.0-1.5 look fer bios (512)5035,,, rename the file BIOS, should be in those xbins files u got
then use the HTTP option if u have the box connectited to the pc, and just follow instructions on ur xbox screen very simple
i thought the 2.6 pro needed a bios of 1mb and im using disk because i dont the cables up university with me. ive just got evolutoin x bios and im going to flash that using the disk. will that work then. can i put my hard drive in and play my games
rite ive got the evo x bios installed ok and it loads up saying evo x ect and then loads up the normal ms dash. should i just be able to put my hd in or do i have to get slayers auto installer on the norm hd.
cos wen i put my hd with games in it comes up ms error 7
