NTSC or PAL Confusion

hi all

the place where i live is basically all selling the NTSC supported xbox 360s
i know how to flash the firmwares and to burn games

now i have come across a friends xbox360 which is PAL supportive.

My questions are:

1. is flashing the NTSC and the PAL drive both same process?

2. after i flash any NTSC or PAL supporting drives , will it play both NTSC or PAL?

3. some games work on both NTSC and PAL consoles : is that depending on the way the game is burned or does the multi-regieon comes only with some original games

OR

is it depending on the 360 DRIVE??

4: is there any possible way to make the 360 drive both PAL and NTSC supportive( by firmware/chip?)?

5: if i change a 360 PAL concole's drive with and NTSC drive , will it work??

someone has good ideas here i believe...

2. no it will play NTSC and region free games
3. Those games are called region free games. they play on both PAL and NTSC

4. not that i know of
5. no idea

No then it would play PAL and region free games.. And the answer to question 5 is no.

The drive doesn't determine what region games the 360 plays. That's why it won't work.

so actually the region control is not from the drive but the 360 mobo....
