Exploit using DVD?

I lost my Swap Magic CD version but I do still have my DVD version

If I were to create the exploit and burn it to a DVD, and use the swap magic DVD/slide card to run the burned DVD, will it still work? Would I need to create a large dummy file so that it reads it as well?

All the tutorials mention CDs work but they never mention whether or not a DVD would also work the same.
