hi

I have a problem not being able to read DVD-RW discs that I burn. It's data not movies and I'm trying to read them on PC, in the same drive which I burnt them.

Windows shows no contents for the drive, nor the volume label (eg: disc label). Basically It's like there's nothing on the disc.

This happens whether it's a multisession disc or a single session.

I'm using the latest version of Nero and a Sony DRU-510a.

Any ideas? Could it be the media, ie: the particular disc I'm using?

cheers

hmmm, im not sure if this is the problem, but if your file system is fat 32 as opposed to ntfs, windows can have a problem reading it as it can only apparently handle files below 4 gigs, mabey someone else can confirm this ?
