I have been at this a while and am using tmpgenc to convert my avi file to mpeg2 but either the program crashes while converting or I get an error while converting. I will start over and it will go futher then stop again and on the 3rd try it will give me an error earlier than the second. The file plays fine on my computer. Any suggestions I use a 1.4ghz processor, 512mb ram and 200gig 7200 hard drive. Also any way to convert in less than the normal 6 hours for a movie. Thanks
