Hello.
I would like to know which software to use to rip a DVD to my hard drive, then watch if from there without having to burn it to a disk. I need to watch the movie with subtitles so is it possible to copy the DVD as it is to the harddrive, so I may be able to access the DVD menu as if it were still in the drive?

Yep, use DVD Decrypter to copy to your hard drive and play with a program of your choice
