has anyone gotten marvel vs capcom 2 to work?

i recently downloaded the iso and burned it to a cd and loaded it through swap magic but all i get is a black screen, wtf!?
what do i need to do to make it work, i was thinking i needed to be patched but i found no patch anywhere. i searched everywhere and didn't find an answer so i'm turning to you guys

To be honest, I don't have this game. You say it's a CD-R ISO? Make sure you're using the SwapMagic CD loader. If you have problems other than that, the only other thing I can suggest is looking for a program called Zoneloader. It has a CD and DVD boot disc. Basically, some games need this to work (I know Scarface does). It works the same way as SwapMagic. Put in Swapmagic, and when you swap, put in the Zoneloader now. You'll press square to boot the disc, and you'll get the Zoneloader CD window. This is where you swap the Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 in, and press the X button to boot. I hope this helps in your case.

I'm using a Japanese Edition of the game, so it works fine...

well I have the orginal copy...of Marvel Vs Capcom 2 NTSC-US..I made a ISO with Nero and burnt it to a cd-r(so I could have a back-up copy) and I used my swap magic CD and it works fine

Could try to convert Marvel Vs Capcom 2 from a CD instead to a DVD. If you do convert it and play it on a DVD, make sure to burn it on good media and add dummy data to prevent stuttering and slight freezes when play it.

Could either try using the dummy.bin file from DVD-loader (forgot how big the dummy.bin is) or using a dummy file maker you can find by google. I did the first method and simply made a multi-game compilation with Marvel Vs Capcom 2 as the base.
