READY!!! Okay, here's my problem, I got a message from one of my friends, it said. "Come see this picture I took of you!" And then some link that had the word 'pic', 'myspace', and some weird number. I clicked on it, ignoring the fact that it has a .exe extension, then ran it. THe file instantly dissapeared, but my MSN immediately send messages to all my contacts identical to the one I recieved. Now whenever I open MSN, it messages all my contacts, then freezes and closes. I have since tried to delete MSN but am unable to and just get bombarded with adware constantly.
I have attached a hijack scan and also Ewido as per other threads.
I hope someone can help me..

Run AVG AntiSpyware, click on Infections (on the top), click on Select All, then click on Remove finally.
The log indicates that you are using Hijack This from within the zipped/.rar folder. This is in inadvisable because when you remove some entries, there will be no back-ups to be created (if you needed to). Create a folder called Hijack This or soemthing similar, either on the desktop or in C:\Program Files\
Update McAfee for the latest signatures, do not run a scan yet...
Download CWShredder: http://www.trendmicro.com/cwshredder/
Run Hijack This, choose "Do a system scan only", place a check-mark for the following entries (if they exist):
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {C004DEC2-2623-438e-9CA2-C9043AB28508} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IpWins] C:\Program Files\ipwins\ipwins.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PVModule] C:\PROGRA~1\PRINTV~1\pvmodule.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Spwr] "C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\SSEMBL~1\arpa.exe" -vt yazb
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [shell] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00001.exe"
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ttool] C:\WINDOWS\9129837.exe
O16 - DPF: {85D1F3B2-2A21-11D7-97B9-0010DC2A6243} (SecureLogin class) - http://secure2.comned.com/signuptemplates/securelogin-devel.cab
O16 - DPF: {E055C02E-6258-40FF-80A7-3BDA52FACAD7} (Installer Class) - http://activex.matcash.com/speedtest2.dll
After that, run CWShredder, accept the license agreement, click on "Fix"
We need to clear your System Restore files. To do this:
1) On the Windows task bar, click Start.
2) Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
3) On the System Restore tab, check Turn off System Restore or Turn off System Restore on all drives.
*If you do not see the System Restore tab, you are not logged on to Windows as an Administrator.*
4) Click Apply
5) When you see the confirmation message, click Yes.
6) Click OK.
Ok, this will clear your system restore files. This was done to clear any restore points that contained infected files...
Enabling System Restore
1) On the Windows task bar, click Start
2) Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties
3) On the System Restore tab, uncheck Turn off System Restore or Turn off System Restore on all drives
4)Click Apply
5) When you see the confirmation message, click Yes
6) Click OK
Now, go ahead and run McAfee anti-virus. Do a full system scan... If there is an option to quarantine or delete/remove, have it remove it...
After that, copy and paste a log from Hijack This (Do a system scan and save a log file) and a log from McAfee as well...
If everything turns out clean, you will need to download Sevice Pack 2...

Ok, better, but still infected...
Update AVG AntiSpyware, close it, will run scan later...
Boot into safe mode, instructions here: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm
Once in safe mode, run AVG AntiSpyware: Choose Scanner, click on Settings, under "How to act?" choose Delete. Click on "Scan" and choose Complete System Scan. Save the log when it is finished...
After that, reboot normally, copy and paste the logs from AVG AntiSpyware and a Hijack This log (first option where you can save a log) in your next response...

@thugs121, you are missing a very serious infection. You fixed the entry with HjT, but didn't delete the file. But even with this file, just deleting isn't enough.
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [shell] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00001.exe"
@rumbo7, Do not install SP2 yet.
You're infected with a keylogger capable of stealing passwords, so you need to change all your passwords to online accounts, from a clean machine of course. This thing comes with a rootkit, so we need to check for that also.
Edit-->you may have to show hidden files to see these files.
Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab > check "Show hidden files and folers".
Locate and remove these files(if present)
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00001.exe
C:\Program Files\TBONBin\tbon.exe <--if this file is present, delete the folder also.
Then, open this file with Notepad.
C:\WINDOWS\system.ini
Copy the text from Notepad and post it in your next reply. And also tell me if those files existed.
We'll check for the rootkit after you post back.

timer=timer.drv
[mci]
[driver32]
[386enh]
woafont=dosapp.FON
EGA80WOA.FON=EGA80WOA.FON

That's the file I meant, but it's not in it. We'll just check for a rootkit.
Dowload F-Secure Blacklight (blbeta.exe) to the desktop from here.
Open it and click Accept Agreement.
Click "Scan".
After the scan is complete, click "Next", then "Exit".
It will create a log on the desktop named "fsbl-xxxxxxx.log" (the xxxxxxx will be the date and time of the scan)
Post that log in your next reply.

Ono... ow im in trouble......
after doing all that last night, my pc froze up... now i cant get online at all and i have no idea.....
when connecting.. explorer says this:
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.
Please try the following:
? Click the Refresh button, or try again later.
? If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
? To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
? If your Network Administrator has enabled it, Microsoft Windows can examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings.
If you would like Windows to try and discover them,
click Detect Network Settings
? Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer to determine what strength security you have installed.
? If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your Security settings can support it. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check settings for SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0.
? Click the Back button to try another link.

Quote: after doing all that last night, my pc froze up
After doing which instructions?
Also, try connecting to the internet via safe mode with networking. Press F8 like you would enter safe mode but choose "Safe Mode with Networking" from the list.

Ok, BL log is clean. But I'm very curious as to what happen to that file. Fixing an 04 entry with HjT will not remove the file associated with the entry.
Go to Start > Search and search all files and folder for "ibm". If you find ibm00001.exe delete it.
Download RootkitRevealer.zip from here.
* Create a new folder(RKR) in, C:\
* Extract RootkitRevealer.zip into C:\RKR folder.
* Open C:\RKR folder and double-click on RootkitRevealer.exe file
* Close all windows.
* Click Scan and wait until scanning is finished.
* NOTE: Do not use your computer while scanning is in progress.
* When scanning has completed, click File (upper side of window)
* Then click Save and save the log to the desktop.
Open this file with Notepad as you did the system file.
C:\WINDOWS\win.ini
Copy the contents and post the here along with the RootkitRevealer log.
