FIFA 07 Online Problem with cogswap

Hi,
I'm getting a weird disconnection problem when I play FIFA 07 online.
I use cogswap, and the game loads fine. It even gets online perfectly, and plays an online game as normal.

But when the game finishes and it goes back to the Online Menus I get a message saying "You have lost your connection to the Internet."

Then when I reconnect it says that I got a DNF (Did Not Finish) for the game, and I get a loss awarded to me.

This is really weird because even at the end of the game a screen comes up, saying your scores and last 5 games, it says that I got the win (or whatever the actual result was).

I don't have this problem when playing on the same connection on my mate's modded PS2.

Do you think this is a problem with cogswap? or have I just been unlucky with my connection for each game?
