I have a problem with FixVTS: after having run it on two movies decrypted by dvd fab decrypter, the movies are not shown by any dvd player I tried.
The steps I did follow. Since DVD player failed in compressing them for some errors (I do not remember what):
1. I used dvd fab decrypter to put them uncompressed on the hard drive;
2. Since dvd shring was still failing in compress them (for "bad structure" error) I run FixVTS (last version) on them;
3. The FIX-VTS-modified movies are corrupted:
- I can see the menus and the spots preceding the menus;
- The movies are all "black": nothing is shown (in one movie I can see the ending titles - when the slider is in the middle of the bar). If I try and read them with Media Player Classic, the program just loops and I need to kill it in order to terminate.
I have read that FixVTS can do only `good'. So what was my error?
I forgot to say that I re-encoded them with dvdshrink but I still cannot see anything. Within the initial 10 seconds the player goes through all the chapters (without showing a single image) and then goes back to the main menu.
