HDL_DUMP server - no video output!

Whenever I run HDL_DUMP's server (to use with HDL_DUMB to transfer games over to my PS2 HD, MC exploited) , I get no video output whatsoever. Just a blank screen. I am running it off the memory card. I know its working, because I can use HDL_DUMB to transfer games over network just fine...I just dont get any output on screen. Is there supposed to be any? Also, is there some way to..quit HDL's server and go back to uLaunchELF when I'm done transferring, or do I just have to reboot?(as I am doing, I cant find any sort of "quit this program" command)
