HI iv been browsing through this forum and gotten lots of help but im having a problem well the other day i purchased a liteon dvd burner DVDRW DRW-6S160P for the sole perpose of burning PS2 bakups and well my swag magi coder arived yesterday and i had already burnt 6 cds most of them were arounf 3.4 gig cepts narutomet hero 4 which was 1.sumtin gig ^^ ne way bak to topic well i found that all the gams i burnt either lagged and by lagg i mean skipping voice skipping SLOW loading times and so on but i burnt all tho on 6x speed cause of my burner couldent go lower than that at first i thought it was that reson but then i burnt the same games on my sisters laptop at 2.5x that dident help it was still slow and skippy then after i thought it was the media i used well im still not sure cause i bought mine from the pound store ($ store for americans ^^)but when i cheak on the suitable media to use it came up wit Taiyo Yudens in the 8x DVD+R varietys then using Nero cd-dvd speed i found that the dvd+rs i got from the pound store were Taiyo Yudens in the 8x DVD+R veriety (http://img160.imageshack.us/img160/9986/spa0033hp0.jpg)(http://img76.imageshack.us/img76/9530/yurden2dy1.jpg)
so now im confused naruto 3 plays fine jsu a bit of skipping in the movies but thats all in all the other games they take ages to load and sumtimes dont even start up can ne one help me??shud i get new media ne burning info to help me lol thanks in advanced^^

Try to get an 8x DVD-R and burn it at 4x. Make sure it's good media though (look at the OFFICIAL best media sticky). Your PS2 may not like DVD+R, that may be the problem too.

Hi...

I always use Verbatim, and 4 x speed when i burn. For the last 2 years i can tell on one hand how many times it didn't work.
