I have a v12 slimline PS2 and the DMS4 Lite. Recently I attempted an install (having never done one before). After soldering every point and securing the chip, I reassembled the PS2 and attempted to power it up. The red light came on, and when I pressed the power button, it went green for approximately 1 second, and then back to red. There is no video output.

Figuring it was my bad install, I desoldered the chip and cleaned up all the solder points, using a multimeter to make sure there were no shorts. I also checked every fuse and none are blown.

The problem persists. It still goes green for a second, then right back to red. I've looked through pages of this forum and everyone seems to suggest the only two reasons for this are shorts and blown fuses. Apparently, with mine this isn't the case. Could anyone shed any light on this?

Also, if I can't figure this out, I was wondering if it's possible to swap the laser assembly from the slim to the fat ps2. I have a fat one that's got a burned out laser, and the slim one is almost brand new, just having the power problem.
