I was playing my PS2 slimline 75003 today and it just went into standby. I try to turn it back on and the light turns on for about half a second and then turns red again. I have left it a while to cool down and tried turnin it on again but still won't. It is still under warranty so is there any way to fix it or should I just send it back.

Why bother trying to fix it yourself if it's still under warranty? I say send it in.
