I cannot get my games to work off of the HDD.

I installed all of my images using WinHIIP V1.7.6. After installing the exploit and all of that other stuff. I run HDLoader 8B and all of my equipment is detected. However when I try to play an image my screen goes black. I used Nero 7 to rip each game and WinHIIP to format and place the images on the HDD. Did I miss a step?

One issue after the other. OK I got my game working, Tales of the Abyss, but now I have more issues. I run into stuff like the games sound get out of sync ord I lose certain sound effects or the game just freeze up. I read a PS@ HDD guide and it stated that game would run fine with out any patches or anything. Any suggestions?
