DVD-R works on computer but not on xbox

I bought my first DVD-Rs the other day. They are TDK 2x and i used dvdshrink to make American Pie2 fit on it, and used nero5.5 to burn. It works fine on my computer but when i go to put it in my xbox i get a error msg...

I know that i should try other brands b4 i post this but i thought TDK was a good brand???

Anyway im usin a Pioneer A05 and I will try Verbatim DVD-Rs next...

By the way, a lot of badly burnt DVD's will still play in the computer, that is not a way to judge them

Also... i get a error msg when im 9% thru ripping Goldmember, is this security or something? and how do i get around it, i dont remember the error msg off by heart but will check for you if u need to know.

nope, that didnt work... i followed your guide really closely and my xbox still didnt recognize it :( So it still looks like those dvd-rs are poo poo :P
