Stick yer spam where the sun don't shine.
I didn't realize we were all gettin' a deal with $3 a piece for 4X riteks. You can get em for a 1.45/100 elsewhere w/ free shipping.
Try again, or rather, take yer lame $3 questionable riteks elsewhere.

First off ebay is the worst place to find a bargain unless you are looking for old outdated stuff. You usually end up paying more on ebay than anywhere else.
Secondly what Tosca says shouldnt be ignore although I do think he/she is confused about the actual price that $3 dollars canadian which is 2.18 american which isnt too bad if they are Grade A. Problem is let say the seller tells you they are Grade A then you get them and find out they arent. Then what? You cant return them. Also if you didnt pay extra for the insurance (which most people dont) and it get lost before it reaches your doorway your screwed. Your better off finding a site on the internet with a good return policy and buying from them. I use www.blank-cd-cdr.com with no problems so far. Have burnt over 200+ 4x Ritek from them with no coaster.

I understand what you are saying about returns and taking peoples words on ebay, thats the reason for feedback on it though.
However, if you think that ebay is the worst place to get a good deal, then you, my friend, aren't too bright when it comes to finding deals. I've got a rating of 85 on ebay with all positive, and i have yet to have a problem buying or selling on it. I bought a Progressive scan DVD player than plays DivX and Mp3's for £61 brand new and boxed froma company in germany. It sells for £135 in the UK. Now thats a good deal!

Well ebay is a good, if i order from Canadina company it's like 6 bucks CAD a DVD. On ebay it's like 3.50 CAD, no tax or duty, just shipping. Would love to order from US but Duty will cost alot, shipping. Unless you know a really good place close to canada, ei NY. Ebay is probably my best bet for DVD-R at a good price.
Probbly buy Ritek for DVDs and buy Princo to see if they are as bad as people claim.
Princo with shiping is about 2CAD
Ritek is about 3 CAD with shipping.
I'll test both and see.
Geez in malayisa bought 50 movies DVDs each for 2.5 CAD they are still going strong should of bought more. DVDs as copied DVD's in China town, like Spider-man, return of the living dead etcc.. All those copys work great and it's be 5 months, they are gold. 2.50 CAD for a copy of a movie that's including case ,they must buy there DVD-Rs really cheap
Bring it on!

www.Meritline.com for example I did the math and you can get certified Ritek GO4's 100 pack for $180 US dollars equivalent to $248 Canada. Yes that includes shipping to canada. Like I said ebay sucks.

Well Oriphus you one of the lucky few then. I know ebay is suppose to be a bargain but from my experience it hasnt been. Take the latest item I tried to buy for example. A pioneer dvr-105 I ended up buying for $160 us dollars total that included shipping even you advertise it for 99 pounds which is pratically the same price brand new I mind you. Now I dare you to go on ebay and find one for that cheap. How am I not the one who not too bright when it comes to finding a deal. I know the price of the items im looking for and would jump at a chance to get it cheaper than the price I see how is it my fault that when it gets close to the auction ending you see the price skyrocket? Cuz what to stop someone from having multiple accounts and bidding their item for auction up?

exsqueeze moi. Canadian Buxx. $2.18 USfor Riteks are still very expensive. For that kind of dough you can get branded media from your local electronics store.
Allmediaoutlet.com has Ritek 4X (with logo) for 1.45 a piece. $145 US with free ground shipping in the US.

OK local DVDs here in Canada, Nova Scotia, Cape breton Island are alot.
The cheapest i saw was at walmart and staples. The cost for one is about 6.50 with tax, maybe 50cents more.
If i ordre form US i might get suck with duty, man i hate duty. I would love to get the deal they do in the states, everyhting is cheap. Trust me i buy from ebay so far np. If you know a good sorce to buy from them post it, but remeber, i have to convert to US, which is not too bad, Canadian $ kicking US ASS. And my main issues is duty. That's what suck, Free trade doesn't work>

I've bought from this guy before: http://www.dvd-r.ca/ He's in Toronto.
Just to clarify: buying the $145 US discs, add the following:
38% exchange
3% duty
15% HST (sales tax)
$30 CDN shipping ('cause free shipping within the USA does me no good)
$20 customs brokerage fee
Works out to just under $3 CDN per disc.
And going into your local electronics store isn't always an option. I live in a fairly large city (1 million people) and there is only 1 electronics store in town that has prices like this. And their available stock changes more often than I change my socks.
Just my $0.02- from a Canadian perspective.

ps, must be nice to get DVD-Rs at those prices. and DVD burners. Geez living it up...
I'm going to try Princo also, cause they are so cheap, but i'll only use Ritek for DVD video.

Maybe he's the same guy, what type of brand do you use, any i should stay away from, Mainly using DVD-Rs for copying movies, not data.

I wouldn't go so far as saying that Canada sucks... us Canadians are just as patriotic as Americans.
One thing to keep in mind; I'm using this to my advantage. Because most Canadians aren't using DVD-R yet, I'm making a bunch of money converting people's home movies from analogue to DVD-R for them.
