Halo2 modding Help - Weapons shooting blanks after a few rounds??!!

OK, First, Thanks for reading this and for any attempt you make to help out.
I have Evox dash rockin' the box, I modded Halo2 using dot halo, altering the (weap) tag.

When I load my mods and play around with friends (never matchmaking), let's say for example I grab a snipe riffle, well I bust off 8 shots and everything goes as expected... melon juice splattering on walls and red and blues scrambling like cockroaches from my 1/4 mile high perch. There?s that darn yellow b*stard, I have him in my sights I squeeze the trigger....Nothing, Again..again..again what the F#&* - nothing.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but every weapon seems to loose it's damage effect after some uses. I even shoot what sounds like a rocket, I SEE THE AMMO BEING SPENT, and even reload...but nothing,

Any advice to give peoples, or scholarly help?

yep this is normal, you cant do anything about it if you are modding off-host!

there is a temperary solution. This is to run over ammo of the gun you are firing, and it will have affect again.

ex. if you are holding a br and you are not doing any damage, go pick up more ammo and try shooting someone again!
