if want it to be a usb hdd. there's only a kit to add a hdd for v12-13. usb is the only way to go on the v14+.

just buy a usb case enclosure kit $60,1 usb cable
after U buy it.just take the 4 small screws out, pull out the slide tray then plug your maxtor harddrive in ,put the 4 screws back in and ...WHALA!! a USB DRIVE. Then go google USBEXTREME or USBADVANCE
download it to your computer, but First if you have winxp just plug the harddrive in your USB port..winxp will auto install, click on my computer to see all your hdds and CD drives U will see your USB Drive
right click on it to look for format, click on format choose NTFS
also name your USB Drive so U will know it from the others. After it's finished. Install USBEXTREME on your PC ..open your USBEXTREME folder click on USBEXTREME icon, look for the harddrive tab/ scroll to see your USB harddrive letter( C:\or D:\or E:\etc.)now click on the format tab click ..FORMAT.wait till finished..WHALA!! VERY SIMPLE!!there are many great TUTORIALS in this forum to help U the rest of the way.(make sure U remember your USB Harddive letter U don't want to format the wrong hdd!!)

all you hafta do for the .elf files is get ulaunchelf and put it on a disc. its the ps2 version of my computer off windows. you can copy,paste,delete,rename,move,... and it can read both memory card slots, a usb storage device, an internal hdd on a fat ps2, and the ps2 dvd-rom. i think it can also access FTP.

Will this work? I thought for one the USB Enclosure would be slow. Sure it would be. Next, all you need is USBExtreme or USBAdvance? I was wondering because I have a slim v14 also and would love to be able to play off of the HDD to save laser and not worry at the moment about mod chip. I am currently using the exploit disc to boot games up? And you would not need Swap Magic for this?

I also have ARMAX EVO with the pendrive as well.
