I had a working modded xbox with xbmc as my dashboard. I tried to update xbmc with a newer, but probably wrong version and now I can not get connected to my xbox again.
What's happening, I start my xbox with a cd of evolution-x or with a slayers evox auto-installation but everytime I get the green X with beneath "executer2" and then it stops. So I can't get any ip so I could connect through FTP and recopy the working files of xbmc. When I start with no cd it's just the same: green X with "executer2" and then it stops.
I already tried this: unlocked the hd. Then I tried to use fatxplorer but it opens, it recognizes my xboxhd on my pc and then it closes without notice.
So my question in fact is, does someone knows a option to connect my xbox hd to my pc so I can read the c-drive and could then change some files in order to bring my xbox to a working state? I say connect to my pc, but if there is another way, let me know...

a hotswap didn't help.
I can see my xbox hd, but when I run fatxplorer it says "no fatx drive found" or it just closes. I also updated vb6runtime.
I spend already a few days on this problem. :(

After that I tried to install a new hd. I used hdprepare on a new hd. Put it in my xbox, started with the evox cdrom (which has always worked before) and again it came up with 07 or 09 error code.
I even cannot use any hd anymore.

Do you have any more suggestions to start all over again. So no original hd, just a new one.......
