my ps2 ribbon cable ribbed the skinney silver wire thingyy like one side came off the side thts connectin to the power is still attached the other side where itz soppose to be connectin the console partt is outt i tried to put it back in sumhoww likee i see the partt where u have to putt it bakk inn but i tried for like more than a hour puttin it backk inn like it goes in okk but it doesnt stayy itz like losee goes inn but than comes ritee noww it doesnt stayy inn can someone giv me sum advice and tell me exact stepps how i can fix this problem

did you try plugging it in both ways? if you grab it near the tip where its gonna be the strongest and try to push it in it might help. also i dunno about the ps2 cause i only unplugged mine at the power button and it went back easily, but on laptops and cell phones they sometimes have a locking mechanism where the cable plugs in see if theres not a little lever or somethin that locks it in.
