PS2 games playable on PC???

I have around 25 games for my PS2, and Ive found that my PS2 doesnt want to read them anymore, stuttering and scratching the disks. Ive had my PS2 for around 5 years now, and I think its life is coming to an end. Is there anyway that I could copy the PS2 games to my computer and emulate them to play them on my PC? If so whats the best way to do this? and could i sumhow still use my PS2 controller to play the games????? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Forget it, there's no real working emulator for PS2 games on the PC. They all run far too slow, or don't work at all.

The reason your games probably dont work anymore is probably laser related. Have you ever cleaned the laser in the last 5 yrs that you've owned it?

No, i didnt realise I had to and also i kinda dont know how to? Do you reckon that that may be the reason as to why the disks arent being read properly?
