Hey guys,

I am very excited about this new update which allows you to play streaming video on your 360.. The thing I am pissed about is the whole limited to WMA thing (I guess it can play MPEG2 as well?)

My question is what is a good way to go about getting videos to play on your 360. I have a lot of TV episodes I would love to play on my 360. I read about a couple programs, but I tried just using windows movie maker and it gave me a codec error on the particular file I was trying to encode (.avi)

I am a noob with all this video stuff, I know I need codec's to play videos and all the videos run on my computer fine - but to encode them to wma do I need a certain codec?

Seems like every program gives me this codec error. I also read about a program called transcode360 - I guess it converts it on the fly while its being sent to your 360 (may be wrong on that?) Anyway it only works on people with Windows MCE doh.. Any help would be awsome!

you need winavi 6.3 is the best just convert into a wma file
