H, I have read many many threads about it and I still can't get my maxtor to be connected to my ps2!!!
can anyone give me a specific guide for that??
I followed every step in the guides, and still the major question is remaning: "when I burn the USB Advanced cracked.cue, and load it to my ps2 it loads, but a black screen is there for houers.., what to do?" and I have the same prob, but nobody helped him so I didn't get any help to... please!!!

I have PS2 V-14 (75004) & Modbo 4 chip
The question is: do I need a swapmagic disc to load elf files?
How the hell do I exploits my MC? I've also read about it with no use!!! I'm such a damn noobie!!! P-L-E-A-S-E help meee... I'm despreate!!!

On my V14 I have a USB drive and put a folder on it called SWAPMAGIC and then loaded my USB Advance Global edition in there and renamed it to SWAPMAGIC.ELF. I then either boot the PS2 with SM3.8 or USB extreme.

I do not think the other programs work with USB drives and PS2 v14 so someone correct me if I am wrong.

^^Yeah thats the best way I know.
No need for usb extreme, just get swap magic and download usb advance.elf

Ive never really dealt with modchips.
Maybe look up your model and see if it has functions from loading from a mem card or usb stick.
U can always get a copy of sm3.6 off the net since u can already play backups :)
